I was the last in my family (I have 5 siblings) that attended PSJA High. The school split a few years after I graduated and my younger brother Kevin became a Raider. All of us: Bert, Jorge, Linda, Rene, and our Mom Dora (Garcia) and her brothers Panta & Eddie loved being bears. Most of us went on to become Aggies. Whoop! 
I am proud of my fellow classmates - Holly Mettlach who is a successful CPA in Austin, John Conquest who is a successful engineer, Joey Garza who I hear is a doctor! Way to go guys! If you knew them, you'd know that there was never a doubt that they would go on to be a success!

I did not graduate from PSJA, but went to grade school with some of the members of the 1965 class. We lived in San Juan, Alamo and McAllen from 1954 to 1960. I am signing this guest book in hopes that an old class mate from those grade school years might see this and write. I am especially trying to locate a class mate from Alamo. His name is James Craig McQueary. His dad had a fruit farm just north of town on Alamo Road.
I graduated from HS in Ambia, Indiana. I am a systems analyst in Indianapolis. I married in 1967 and have 2 daughters and a son. Our first grandchild was born January 27, 2000.

I have many great memories of the great PSJA days in school. I was in the Bearettes four years, choir also and had many good friends from both of those events. I have heard of many of my school mates passing and also teachers that touched my life in one way or another.
Once a Bear always a Bear is my Motto. Yeah Bears!

I have been married to Ken Lankford for 47 years. Had two children Pam and Douglas. We have one grandson and he is 21 years old. That I adore! We have lived here in the metroplex for 20 years and have retired recently. My Hubby worked for the FAA for 35 years. Just would like to say to any one , write me or email me. I love getting news...

There are many fond memories of softball, biology under Mrs. Wodrich, the Carmen sisters, Mr. Gordon Lee, Mrs. Kelly,Mrs.Brooks, and Mr. Holt urging us ever onward and upward. What a great band we had. And, of course, my dog Senator attending class with me. My truck not starting, missing the bus and having to ride my horse to school. Between Senator and me dragging in with my saddle and books, I'm sure I added quite a few gray hairs to Miss Edith's head.

i am tim's sister-in-law. i married his brother, jim (the oldest palmquist) three years ago. it has been quite an experience. my son is 16 and daughter 15. they fight all the time. it is wonderful!!! jim says that he's already been through it with his two kids and he can handle it. well, time will tell!!! anyway, go bears go!!!!!!!
