I just
finished flipping through the photos taken from the 1952
annual. It brought back some great memories. The old high school
is now being
used as a jr. high. A new high school is being built
just
south of the present bear high school on "I" road. This will
become
P.S.J.A. Bears High School and the present high school will
become a
jr. high. The old high school on busines 83 will be torn down.
If you
havn't see "Bear Stadium" lately, it is now known as P.S.J.A.
Stadium
with the Alamo Wolverines, San Juan bears, and the Pharr Raiders
all using
the same stadium. The stadium had astro grass installed this summer.

is marvelous and i am glad to find out it exists! i did
not make it home for our class's 20 yr reunion...i was
pregnant with twins and the dr would not let me
travel. they are now 18, carolyn is in blinn and james is
a senior at bryan high school. if any of you are in
bryan, stop and see me...i am the librarian (natch) in

class but went in the USAF and went the GED route in 1962.
Married Sue
Carol Heaney in 1963 (class of 63) and raised two children, Susan and David
while moving
around from one USAF base to another for 28 years. Still working with the
Air Force as
a consultant. Will finally retire when they snap my suspenders and point me
towards the
main gate.
